Kharos Arena had never seen a single survivor.

It was not a prison. It was not a battlefield. It was a place where nobles gathered to turn human lives into entertainment.

Today, tens of thousands of spectators filled every seat in the arena. The reason was simple. This sacrifice was more special than any before it.

A young condemned prisoner.

No name.

No family.

No noble blood.

No one knew where he came from. The only thing anyone knew was that he had been captured while attempting to break into a forbidden section of the royal palace.

Heavy chains tightened around his wrists. Dried blood stained his torn clothes as guards shoved him into the center of the arena.

Laughter immediately erupted across the stands.

“He won't survive a minute.”

“The beast will rip him apart before sunset.”

High above them all, the king calmly lifted his wine glass.

“Begin.”

RRRRRUMMMM.

The massive steel gate at the far end of the arena burst open.

The ground shook violently. A wave of unbearable heat poured out from the darkness.

Then it appeared.

Titan Beast.

The monster that had existed for more than three hundred years.

The creature that had destroyed three cities.

The creature that had slaughtered thousands of warriors.

Its gigantic body was covered in ancient scars. Every step shattered the stone beneath its feet.

The crowd exploded with excitement.

Titan Beast slowly raised its head. Its blood-red eyes locked onto the condemned prisoner.

Then it charged.

BOOOOOOM.

The earth exploded behind it as it crossed the arena in seconds.

Everyone rose from their seats.

Waiting.

Watching.

Expecting blood to stain the sand.

But just a few meters away from the prisoner—

Titan Beast suddenly stopped.

Its entire body trembled.

Its crimson eyes widened.

As if it had seen something that should not exist.

The entire arena fell silent.

The monster took a step back.

Then another.

Not out of fear.

But out of disbelief.

The king frowned.

“What is happening?”

No one answered.

Because Titan Beast was staring directly at the prisoner's neck.

His torn shirt had slipped aside.

And beneath it—

a black mark appeared.

An ancient crown surrounded by monstrous fangs.

One of the royal elders instantly turned pale.

The goblet slipped from his hand and shattered on the floor.

“Impossible...”

“That mark...”

“The Blood of the Beast King...”

At that exact moment—

Titan Beast knelt.

BOOOOOOM.

Its enormous knee crashed into the stone floor.

The entire arena shook.

The monster lowered its head.

No growl.

No attack.

No rage.

Only submission.

Like a knight welcoming a king long thought lost to history.

Gasps spread throughout the arena.

The king jumped to his feet.

“KILL HIM!”

“KILL THAT BOY NOW!”

But no one moved.

No one dared.

Because at that very moment, the other iron gates beneath the arena began to shake.

BANG.

BANG.

BANG.

Each impact echoed like thunder.

Then—

every monster imprisoned beneath Kharos Arena roared at once.

The sound rolled across the entire capital like a summons that had waited centuries to be answered.

The royal mages immediately turned pale.

One of them opened a forbidden ancient book with trembling hands.

The pages flipped by themselves.

Stopping at the final chapter.

A chapter that had remained blank for hundreds of years.

And for the first time—

crimson letters slowly appeared.

“When the Last King returns...”

“Those called monsters will recognize their master before mankind does.”

The arena sank into absolute silence.

The young prisoner slowly lifted his head.

He looked at Titan Beast kneeling before him.

Then at the thousands of terrified faces surrounding him.

And in that moment—

a strange memory surfaced within his mind.

A vanished city.

An army of colossal beasts.

And a throne made of ancient bones.

Almost unconsciously, he raised his hand and touched the mark on his neck.

Instantly—

the sky above the arena cracked apart.

A voice older than history itself echoed from the deepest corners of the world.

“At last...”

“The heir of the Beast King has awakened.”
