Chapter 84 - The Invitation Accepted

Late that evening, another secure envelope arrived.
This one contained no token.
Only a typed card.
> You opened the locker.
> You read Volume II.
> That means you are no longer investigating the Network.
> You are now part of its history.
Arthur placed the card on the table.
"No location?"
Margaret shook her head.

Coordinates.
Not to another building.
Not to another archive.
To a quiet cemetery on the outskirts of the city.
Samuel's expression changed immediately.
"I know that place."
Arthur looked at him.
"Have you been there?"
Samuel nodded slowly.
"Only once."
"When?"
"The day Harold Bennett's family held a private memorial."
The room fell silent.
"But Harold wasn't buried there," Arthur said.
"No."
Samuel's voice became almost a whisper.
"Someone else was."
Margaret studied the coordinates again.
If the compass symbol, the hidden volumes, the anonymous mentor, the intercepted letters, and the vanished offices all converged on a forgotten grave...

...then perhaps the next chapter of the investigation would not begin inside another archive.
It would begin with the one person whose name had never appeared in any official record—but whose absence had quietly shaped the lives of everyone who had spent decades searching for the truth.
